The Shepherds of Downtown have established the following statement based on Ezekiel 34:16 as our mission, and we seek to follow it as a ministry here. 

"The Downtown family will equip God's people to join with God as he searches for the lost, brings back the strays, binds up the injured and strengthens the weak."

Hey guys! Thanks for checking out the site.  Glad you have taken the time to look around and find out what our youth group here at the Downtown church of Christ in Searcy, AR is all about.  Hopefully you will see that this is a group of teenagers seeking hard after God, encouraging others to do the same, and sharing this journey together.  We know we are not perfect, but we also know that we are loved by an incredible God who showers his love on us everyday.  And we, in turn, want to pour His love out on to others by the things that we say and do everyday.

We want to keep you as up to date as possible! So, to see news about upcoming events and last minute details or changes follow the news link here or at the bottom of any page. This will have the basic info about events, as well as any last minute updates.

To see full descriptions of an event, go to our events page, which will also include a copy of the full quarter calendar.

Also, you will find a copy of the permission slip on the home page... this will just need to be edited for your child's name and the event you are giving permission for them to attend.
